Starting today and running through December 3, water and wastewater professionals will gather in sunny Orlando to network, earn CEUs and PDHs for professional growth, and stay on top of the latest tech developments. This year’s theme? Building a Better Future.

SediVision will be in the exhibit hall at booth 325. If you’re visiting the exhibit floor on December 2nd, look for SediVision team members Caroline Dunkel, Senior Data Analyst, and Michael Ryan, Business Development Representative.

- Student and Young Professional events
- Young Professionals Committee session
- Young Professional and Student Lunch
- Water Bowl – Jeopardy-like competition for students
- Fresh Ideas poster contest – Design contest for students
- BBQ Challenge and Incoming Chair Reception (registration) – Monday evening – Teams test their flame-broiled skills and everyone wins! This festive affair will also welcome Tyler Tedcastle, the incoming 2026 Section Chair.
- Poker Night – Monday evening – Social benefit event for Likins Scholarship Fund, Water Equation, and Water for People. (registration)
- Operator Competitions (registration and more details)
- Top Ops – Monday – Teams of 1-3 operators & lab techs in fast-paced Q&A competition, make sure you go to the preview meeting at 10am
- Backhoe Rodeo – Tuesday – Timed challenges for backhoe drivers, best time wins!
- Tapping Contests – Tuesday – Teams of four compete at two types of tapping, timed and judged by quality and safety
- Meter Challenge – Tuesday – Individual contestants race to see who can assemble a meter the fastest without leaks while following safety best practices (full rules and guidelines)
- Hydrant Hysteria – Wednesday – Two-person teams assemble fire hydrants, judged by speed, completeness, and hydrant function
- Swing and Sip at Top Golf – Casual golf tournament at Top Golf in Orlando, benefiting Likins Scholarship Fund, Water Equation, and Water for People; not much of a golfer? buy a social ticket for a good cause and mingle.
