WEFTEC 2023: The Biggest Show in the Water Industry

SediVision will feature its “visibility in dark water” technology at WEFTEC 2023.

We’re excited to be part of the 96^th Annual Water Environment Federation’s Technical Exhibition and Conference, known as WEFTEC. Hosted this year at McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois, this massive conference event starts Saturday, September 30, and runs through Wednesday, October 4.

WEFTEC 2023 will feature more than 800 exhibitors and over 20,000 registrants from all over the world and all sectors of the water industry, including wastewater, stormwater, water quality, energy, biosolids, and just about every aspect of water industry technology, issues, and solutions.  

SediVision Booth Near the EPA and Ops Challenge

Although SediVision’s sister company, US Submergent Technologies, has been a WEFTEC exhibitor in the past, 2023 is the first year SediVision will have a booth in the vast conference exhibit hall. You’ll find us in Booth #8127, North Building.

We’re telling attendees to look for us at the “Intersection of the EPA and the Operations Challenge.” The sizable US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) booth will be across from us, and the Operations Challenge, where the action gets real, will be only three booths away. We’re delighted to be at the heart of the activity and at the crossroads of WEFTEC conference traffic.

WEFTEC Operations Challenge

We are also excited to be helping to sponsor the teams representing the state of Florida in the Operations Challenge. Every year, the Operations Challenge showcases the skills and professionalism of the water resource recovery facility personnel, when teams compete in five event challenges: Process Control, Laboratory, Safety, Collections Systems, and  Vaughan Maintenance

SediVision is proud to be among the supporters and fans of three teams from Florida who will be competing:

• Polk County Bio-Wizard, who took First Place in the Florida, state-level Operations Challenge
• St. Pete Dirty Birds, who finished in Second Place
• Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA), The Fecal Matter, Florida’s Third Place Winners
